Practical Fishing Outlook

The 9:10–11:10 a.m. major period straddles the 9:24 a.m. low, so anglers can watch the turn and early incoming movement. The 3:33–5:33 p.m. minor period falls on the outgoing tide after the 2:07 p.m. high. The evening major begins about an hour after the 8:26 p.m. low as the water turns back in, but darkness makes lighting, footing, surf awareness, and fishing with a partner especially important. Verify the water, wind, beach flags, and access conditions at the spot before committing.
